Larry Thomas Harris, 77 of Haleyville, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. Larry was a lifelong resident of Haleyville, member Whitehouse Church of Christ and retired from the Furniture Industry as a owner in J & L Furniture.
Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2018 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. . Vance Hutton will officiate the service. Burial will be in Brock Cemetery, Brilliant, AL. .
Mr. Harris is survived by his Wife, Demetricus “Babe” Harris; daughters, Debra Shields and Robin (Walter) Owen; brothers, Thurmond Harris and Johnie Harris; sisters, Shirley Ramsey and Ellen Raye; several half-brothers and half-sisters; grandchildren, April Shields, Ashley Shields, Megan Ross, Drew Owen, Brenna Owen, Ethan Owen, and Emma Owen; great-grandchildren, Dalton Carter, Ryan Mason, Kaden Mason, Zoey Zungia, Isabella Zungia, Cari Ross, Cooper Ross, and Calla Ross; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel and Florene Cook Harris; Brother, Bobby Harris; and Sister, Becca Harris.
