Larry Thomas Coulson Sr, age 70 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on September 8, 1949 to the late James Ira Coulson and Bernice Geneva (Champion) Coulson Gipson. Larry was a dedicated farmer for over thirty-two years with Willis Farms. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially on Keith Springs Mountain. Larry was an excellent handyman and was always tinkering with and fixing things. His family will remember his loving nature and how he would do anything for anyone. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Darrel Vernon Coulson; step-father, Andrew Gipson; and half-brother, Randy Gipson. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Delinda Coulson; children, Jessica (Joel) Bell of Hillsboro, and Larry “Tommy” (Crystal) Coulson Jr of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Joel Bell Jr (Brittney Tucker), James Darrel Bell (Chandler Smart), and Madison Coulson; step-grandchildren, Areianna Bowles, Madeline Bowles, Skylar Tate, and Haley Tate; siblings, Janice (Bobby) Baker of Scottsboro, Donald Ray (Hughlene) Coulson of Estill Springs, James Wayne (Pamela) Coulson of Decherd, Diane(Stanley) Hill of Decherd, Bobby (Cathirene) Coulson of Manchester, Phyllis (Chester) VANGorder of Winchester, and Douglas Stephen Coulson of Decherd; half-siblings, Patty (Ricky) Shetters of Estill Springs, Terry (Gail) Gipson of Estill Springs, and Rhonda (Kenny) Sherrill of Decherd; very special sister-in-law and caregiver, Sabrena Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 and from 2-4 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
