Larry Stewart Cox, age 79, of Florence, passed away February 1, 2022. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, at Evergreen Baptist Church in Florence. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery. Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Cox; parents, Louis and Estella Cox; brother, Lloyd Cox; and sisters, Louise Newcomb and Bonnie Staggs.
Survivors include his children, Tony Cox (Tabitha) and Alicia Cox; grandchild, Olivia Ayers; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was a fan of the Auburn Tigers.
