Larry Ray Dunson age 62 of Meridianville, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Mr. Dunson was born February 13, 1956 in Madison County, AL to Clifford Samuel Dunson and Gladys Louise Cobb Dunson.
Services will be Sunday, March 25, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alfred Dunson; nephew, Shawn Noles.
Survived by his wife of 30 years, Shelia B. Dunson of Meridianville, AL; two daughters, Brandy Travers and husband, Byron of Hampton Cove, AL and Stephanie Gibbs and husband, Robert of Athens, AL; four grandchildren, Kalei, Evan, Nathan and Bramlett; three sisters, Rebecca Morgan, Brenda Bussey and Linda Noles; multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; grand-dog, Jax.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, building tents for grandsons, Alabama Football. He loved his grandkids, chasing Kalei and Evan with a bullwhip, front porch conversations with family and asking “what’s for dinner?”
Pallbearers will be Josh Noles, Bennie Ray Bussey, Tim Owen, Tim Morgan, Kenny Bailey, Robert Gibbs and Evan Sheffield. Honorary pallbearers will be Bramlett Travers and Nathan Gibbs.
