Larry Paul Gilbert, age 74, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 16, 1945, served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, and retired security from Trans Corp. America in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick Homer and Christine Louise Estes Gilbert, and his sister, Audrey Sumner.
Visitation will be begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home until 1:00 p.m. funeral time on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, David Gilbert and wife Jamie of St. Louis, MO, Anthony Gilbert and wife Joy of New Zealand, his daughter, Lisa Gilbert of St. Louis, MO, brother, Terry Gilbert and Phyllis of Pulaski, TN, and 8 of his grandchildren.
