Larry Oneal Arnold Larry Oneal Arnold, age 77 of Boaz died peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice after a short sickness with cancer and reached his home in Heaven.
He loved trucking and did it for many years. Even some years with his beautiful bride, Donna. He was a founding member of the Beulah Volunteer Fire Department and served as chief for many years. He will be missed by several including his dog “Little Bit”. Larry loved all his nieces and nephews and their grands. He was especially close to Jack and Ross. He had a special place for them in his heart. Larry enjoyed his family and friends and loved going out to eat. A few days before Larry passed, he said “Donna, get dressed, we are going to eat, they’ll have fried rabbit, gravy and biscuits.”
His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Beulah Cemetery. Bro. Tony Holcomb, Bro. Wayne White and Bro. Daryl Ross will officiate his service. Pallbearers will be Phillip Arnold, Jimmy Beck, Kelton Pankey, Fred Pankey, Austin Renfroe and Jaron Franks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Culbert, Bo Franks, Coen Franks, Ross and Ty Renfroe. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years; Donna Pearce Arnold, sister; Sherron Scarborough, brother; Sherman Arnold (Patsy) and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friends, Donald and Sandra Pike, Jimmy and Cindy Beck, Sandra Dunn and K.T.
He is preceded in death by his parents; J. O. and Annis Arnold, brother; Ray Arnold, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Fred and Laura Pearce, sister-in-law; Freda Pankey, brother-in-law; James Scarborough and stillborn; Baby Pearce.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Beulah Volunteer Fire Department.
Arrangements entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
