Mr. McWhorter passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 7, 1949, in Lawrence County to Auburn Olden McWhorter and Syble Alice (Wilbanks) McWhorter. Mr. McWhorter was a maintenance man for the City of Hartselle Parks and Recreation department.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
