Service for Larry Joe Jones, age 73, of Decatur, will be Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Dallas Culver officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Mr. Jones, who died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital, was born April 20, 1943, in Morgan County, to Dawson and Emma Jones.
Mr. Jones was an active member of Austinville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jones; two daughters, Kim Hill (Barry), of Decatur and Amanda Buttenshaw (Richard), of Montgomery; grandchildren, Brandon Hill (Kaite) and Abbi Cambron (Tyler); mother, Emma Jones; and one brother, Donnie Jones.
