Larry Joe Hornbuckle, 75, of Owens Cross Roads, AL, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy Hornbuckle; sisters, Anita Sparkman and Renee Kish; brothers, Harry Gene Bullard (Loretta) and Mark Brooks; special nephew, Rodney Hornbuckle (Sarah); special niece, Leslie Hornbuckle Curtis (Jeremy); and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Chase McClure, Nichole Diehl (Ryan), Courtney Robeson (Tanner), Jordan Richards (Holt), Collin Curtis (Crystal) and Abigail Hornbuckle, along many more. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Toby Joe Hornbuckle and rescue dog, Montana Joe Hornbuckle.
He is preceded by his father, J.M. Hornbuckle; mother, Laura Brooks; and brother, Johnie Hornbuckle.
Larry was a Navy veteran and retired from Goodyear. He enjoyed Alabama football, working in his yard, tending to his flowers, and taking care of his Bonsai tree and dogs.
Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 11:30AM to 1:30PM, with service immediately following at 1:30PM. Rev. Terrell Boyd will be officiating.
