Larry Jackson “Jackie” Belew of Hartselle, AL was born on July 20, 1953 to Alvin Jackson “Jack” Belew and Odean Tucker Belew, in Hartselle, AL. He transitioned from this life to heaven on March 21, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL. Services will be Saturday, March 25, 2023 at New Life Church in Falkville with Peck Funeral Home directing and Rev. Phillip Hardin officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 and the service will be at 2.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Belew Price.
Left to cherish 45 years of memories are his wife Kelley Moore Belew and his son Robert Jackson Belew, a niece and nephew as well as a host of extended family.
Jackie worked in the automotive industry at Abercrombie Chevrolet and he spent over 30 years at Mitch Smith Chevrolet.
Jackie loved Nascar, Alabama Football, Atlanta Braves and UAB Softball, but most of all he loved his family. Jackie was always willing to lend a helping hand, even in his death he was an organ donor which allows him to keep helping others. Jackie was a quiet man. He always had a hug and a smile and he will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
