Larry Glenn Fanning, age 75 of Hendersonville formerly of Lynchburg, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2022 at Tri-Star Hendersonville Medical Center. He was born on February 14, 1947 in Moore County to the late Ernest and Catherine (Morris) Fanning. He was a farmer for many years and loved to fish. Larry was well liked by everyone and he never met a stranger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Annie Fanning; brothers, Harry Fanning, Eddie Mears and Bobby Fanning; and sister, Faye Harris. He is survived by his children Johnny (Dianna Bleichner) Fanning and Shelby Fanning; three grandchildren; sisters, Josephine “Jo” (Bill) Neal and Carol (Roy Lee) Scott; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends at Christian Manor. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 11am -1pm at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
