Larry Gene “Mickey” Byrd, Jr., 59, of Gurley passed away Tuesday at his residence. Mickey was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. He was employed as a delivery driver for Buffalo Rock for 25 years. Survivors include his son: Dalton Gene Byrd; one step-son: Tanner Lee Hicks; his mother: Glenda Faye Byrd; two brothers: Timothy Martin Byrd and Brian Keith (Donna) Byrd and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
