Larry Gene Hogeland, 82 of Arab passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Diversicare of Arab. He was born July 17, 1943, the son of Edgar Hogeland and Dillie Allred Hogeland. He worked in construction and auto mechanics before retirement.
He is survived by son: Jimmy Hogeland; daughters: Barbara Hill, Vickie Hogeland and Carol Hogeland; seven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Helen Hogeland; daughter: Shirley Gorham; son: Preston Hogeland; granddaughter: Hollie Gorham; siblings: Agnes Graves, Ottis Hogeland, Kenneth Hogeland, Oddis Hogeland, Lillie Bush and Annie Mae Thrasher.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery, Albertville, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Damein Hopson, Dustin Hopson, Arthur Davis, Jimmy Hogeland, Brody King and Chris Persell.
