Larry G. Hollis age 73 of Dora, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017. He was the retired owner of Sayre Auto Parts; he was a graduate of Corner High School and Livingston University; he loved the game of basketball; he loved cooking for his family and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Funeral services will be Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at New Temple Baptist Church. Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate. Burial will follow at McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 11 am – 1 pm at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Emma Lou Hollis.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Hollis; son, Jeff Hollis and wife Dawn; daughter, Jennifer Zaher; granddaughters, Dina Zaher and Ali Hollis; sister, Luann Smith and husband Jerry; nieces, Abbey Lackey, Ashley Smith, Sheila Vincent, Diane Griffin, Eris Bill and Susan Knafla and nephews, Kent and Jimmy Brake; several other relatives and a host of friends.
