Mr. Larry Franklin Johnson, age 66, formerly of Griffin, residing in Tuscumbia, Ala., passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Mr. Johnson was born in Griffin, Ga. on Sept. 22, 1946. He is preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Rabon Franklin Johnson; and brother, Steve Johnson.
Survivors include his mother, Helen V. Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Tim Weems; sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Jodie Johnson, Michael and Lisa Johnson; grandchildren, Adam, Brianna, Katlyn, Richard, Jacob; brother and sister-in-law, David and Joy Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Jim Fales; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Larry F. Johnson will be Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to thank The Cottage of the Shoals and Helen Keller Hospital for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
