Larry Edward Aaron, age 64, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at ECM Hospital.
Larry was a retired police officer from Phil Campbell and Hackleburg. He loved operating ham radios and trap shooting, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Greg Beasley. Burial will be at Spruce Pine Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.E. Aaron and Alpha Jean Parker Aaron; and his grandparents, Russell & Maud Parker.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his special friend, Mary Williams; children, Kevin Aaron (wife, Amanda); Bridget Aaron, Tyler Aaron; step-children, April Nesmith, Gary Williams; grandchildren, Mason Weeks, Lane Aaron, Brina Nesmith; siblings, Doris Bailey (husband, Robert), Tony Aaron (wife, Vanda), Janice Lindsey, Marie Hubbard (husband, Curtis); and a host of other family members.
The pallbearers will be Tony Aaron, Robert Bailey, Gary Williams, Sam Heath, David Goodwin, and Tyler Aaron. The honorary pallbearers will be Phillip King, Justin Morgan, and Jason Lindsey.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff and doctors of ECM Hospital, Dr. Keith Morrow and his staff; and to the staff of Spry Memorial Chapel for the love and care of our family.
