Larry Dean Gentry of Cullman passed away January 25, 2020 at the age of 76. He was born in Cullman on April 26, 1943 to Samuel Dewey and Lillie Higgerson Gentry. He was a farmer and he also retired from the Cullman County School System as a school bus driver at Good Hope School. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Thurlene (John) Otto, brothers Leon and Jackie Gentry. Funeral services are Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Ralph Andrews officiating. Interment will follow services in Good Hope Cemetery. Survivors are: wife, Jackie Gentry, sisters-in-law: Jeannette (John) Townsend, Christine Gentry, brother-in-law Douglas (Randi) Harbin, nieces Gail (Danny) Miller, Kelly (Cody) Wheeler, Kerry Townsend, Joni Townsend, Jackie (Clint) Shumate, Elise Harbin, nephews: Ronald Gentry, Roger (Shelia) Gentry, Randall (Paulette) Gentry, Sean (Mary Beth) Harbin, Seth (Holly) Harbin, Richard Otto, Keith (Brenda) Otto, and Jeff (Julianna) Otto and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
