Larry Burton, age 65 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church, with burial at Sardis Cemetery on the Old Tuscaloosa Road. Hollis Alexander will officiate.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his Mother-Billie Ruth Burton; Grandfather-Price Burton; Grandmother-Flora Burton; Uncle-Leon Wilhite.
He is survived by his Wife-Brenda Burton; Sons-Derrick Burton and Larry Burton (Priscilla); Sisters-Diane Missildine and Gail Powrzanes; Brother-Doyle Sadler; Grandchildren-Abigail Burton and Brodie Burton; Beloved Furbaby’s-Minni and Gizzi; Daughter-Kimberly Hendrix.
