Larry Buren Garrett, 71, died Monday, January 31, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. He was born in Corinth, MS and was an A-Class mechanic. Larry had served in the U. S. Marines.
Services will be Saturday, February 5, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife –Kim Garrett; daughters – Rachel Berryhill (Thomas), April Garrett Tucker (Roy) and Amber Kennemur (Gary); grandchildren – Liam, Grayson, Samuel, Joshua, Houston, Hayden and Harper; sisters – Brenda Kay White (Gary), Martha Marshall (Paul) and Nelda Crowell and his mother-in-law – Agnes Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arben and Gertrude Garrett and his father-in-law, Thad Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Terry Sparks, Brian Marshall, Mark McCarley, Bennie Johnston, Phillip Hardin and Michael Cross.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
