LaRhue T. Harbison, age 93, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on March 6, 2025, at Albertville Health and Rehab. She was born on June 18, 1931, to the late Rev. L.A. and Edna Traylor. A devoted member of Solitude Baptist Church and Albertville First Baptist Church for many years, LaRhue lived a life of faith, love, and dedication to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 70 years, Kenneth D. Harbison, as well as her parents and 6 siblings, Edward Traylor, Jessie Snider, Wayne Traylor, Gene Traylor, Earlene Dennis and Rickey Traylor.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kenny (Dianne) Harbison, Kerry (Beverly) Harbison, Kelvin (Nancy) Harbison, Kirk (Gina) Harbison, and Lisa (David) Towers; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 surviving siblings, Dorothy Kennamer, Arley Traylor and James Traylor.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Albertville First Baptist Church, with Bro. Chris Johnson, Bro. Willis Kelley, Will Harbison, Kirk Harbison, and Kerry Harbison officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens, with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
LaRhue’s love and kindness touched many, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
