Lanette W. Haden Haney, 72, of Decatur, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Main Hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Benny Sivley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Haney was born Feb. 20, 1944 to George and Kathleen Weathers in Marshall County. She was a retired secretary and her greatest joy was spending time with her seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Haden (Sheri) and Nathan Haden (Rachael); one daughter, Elisa Haden McDaniel (Robert), all of Decatur; sister, Daniela Williams and husband, Bobby of Madison; and grandchildren, Anna and Adam Haden, Conner, Jackson and Katelyn McDaniel, Kyle and Amelia Haden, all of Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
