HUNTSVILLE — In appreciation of the many North Alabamians affected during the current federal furlough, the Land Trust of North Alabama is offering support to those affected by providing up to four free tickets to furloughed employees for its upcoming Friday Night Flick movie screening at Three Caves.

The event, scheduled for Friday, October 24, will feature a showing of the original cult classic Beetlejuice in one of Alabama’s most unique venues. Gates open at 6 PM, and admission includes complimentary popcorn and water. Food from Cave City BBQ and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

“Our community includes so many people who serve through federal work, and this is a small way to say thank you,” said Caroline Kennedy, Capital Campaign and Major Gifts Director for the Land Trust of North Alabama. “We hope an evening under the stars at Three Caves provides a little fun and connection during this time.”

To redeem free tickets, furloughed employees can email questions@landtrustnal.org with their name, government organization, and the number of tickets requested (up to four per person).

General admission is also available for others wishing to attend:

  • $5 for guests under 18
  • $15 for Land Trust members
  • $20 for non-members

Land Trust members can use the access code shared in the September 26 Members-Only email to unlock member-rate tickets.

The Friday Night Flick event is made possible through the generous support of Savant Wealth Management, whose sponsorship helps bring the community together to enjoy outdoor spaces in creative ways.

Three Caves, a former limestone quarry turned outdoor venue, is located just minutes from downtown Huntsville and provides a dramatic setting for this fan-favorite Halloween season event.
