Lamar Bannister age 85 of Huntsville, AL passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his residence.
Born March 21, 1935 in Oxford, AL he is the Son of the late Irby Clay and Eva Mae Woodward Bannister and the Husband of Margaret Jean Howe Bannister. He had lived in Huntsville most of his life, was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville, AL. He owned and operated American Precision Products in Huntsville, AL.
He is survived by his Wife, Jean Bannister of Huntsville, AL, A Daughter, Allison McCormick (Tim) of Athens, AL, A Son Mark Bannister, (Chrissie) of Huntsville, AL, 5 Grandchildren, Scott McCormick (Lauren), Shelly Haney (Adam), Tyler McCormick, (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Scissum, (Kiyoshi), and Emily Cathcart, (Ben), and 6 Great Grandchildren, Eleanor, Lawson, and Marion McCormick, Peyton Haney, Sabine and Kana Scissum.
He was preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Jean Bannister and Dorothy Zegel.
Family Graveside Services held Monday, November 2, 2020 at 3:00 PM from the Guin City Cemetery.
