LaDonna Drumm Borden, 82, of Cherokee, AL, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at her residence. She was a member of Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. She loved to crochet in her spare time. Visitation is beginning at 11 AM on Thursday, April 9 and continuing until service time on Friday, April 10 at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. R.C. Scott and Bro. Perry Murphy. Interment will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeffrey Bitner, Eddie Borden, Andrew Borden, Tony Borden, Coddy Aday, and Robert Bitner. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by 1 son – Patrick Bitner (Marly); 4 daughters – Becky Chase (Bill); Jean Cauffman; Pamela Ostergaard; and Vicky Johnson; 2 sisters – Betty and Esther; 31 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; 4 step children – Nelda Wooten (Jim); David Borden (Sandra); James Borden (Julia); and Grady Borden (Gail); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Borden; her mother, Grace Cauffman; her son, Will Bitner; her brother, Forest; her stepchildren, Joe and Brenda Kay Borden; her step granddaughter, Elzie Mae Borden; and her step daughter in law, Nancy Borden.
