LACEYS SPRING-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle that has taken the life of one person:
“A two-vehicle crash at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24, has claimed the life of a Lacey’s Spring man.
James R. Lasater, 48, was fatally injured when the 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating struck a 2014 Ford F-150, driven by Thomas Hatter, 72, of Lacey’s Spring. Lasater was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash which occurred on U.S. 231 near the 300 mile marker, approximately two miles south of Lacey’s Spring, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
