Lacey Ratliff Haney, 41, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Red Bay Hospital. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, she was the beloved daughter of Steve and Kathy Ratliff. Lacey faithfully served as a nurse alongside Dr. Crandell at Bay Tree Family Care in Red Bay, Alabama, for eight years. Through her compassion, kindness, and dedication, she touched countless lives and built lasting relationships with her patients and coworkers. She was also a member of Dennis First Baptist Church. Above all, Lacey treasured the time she spent with her daughter, Shelby Jean. Whether sharing everyday moments or making special memories together, being Shelby’s mother was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Dennis First Baptist Church in Dennis, Mississippi, with Bro. Adam Humphres and Bro. Ray Burks officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Dennis First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont, Mississippi, is in charge of arrangements.

Lacey is survived by her daughter, Shelby Jean Haney; her parents, Steve and Kathy Ratliff; her brother, Lee Ratliff (Julia); her nephews, Levi and Thomas Ratliff; her uncles, Dr. Don Ratliff (Kathy P.), Kenny Ratliff (Carol), and Mike Faust; her aunt, Carole Montgomery (Shane); a special cousin, DeeDee Pruitt; and several other cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. Leon and Jean Ratliff and John and Betty Faust; and her great-aunt, Martha Ann Devaughn.

Pallbearers will be Keith Kennedy, Shane Montgomery, Terrell Pearson, Levi Ratliff, Mike Faust, and Matt Montgomery.

The family requests that everyone celebrate Lacey’s life by wearing bright and beautiful colors to her service, reflecting the bright and beautiful soul she was. Your colorful attire will serve as a tribute to the joy, love, and light she brought into the lives of so many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lacey for the benefit of Shelby may be made to Community Spirit Bank
