L. V. Willcutt was born September 30, 1926 in Hardin County, TN, the son of the late James Oliver and Ella Mae Meeks Willcutt.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethel Springs, TN. He was a logger; among many other things, he loved gardening, fishing and hunting. He also loved joking with people, sharing stories and most of all, sharing Jesus with everyone.
Mr. Willcutt departed this life on November 17, 2014 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 1 Month, 18 Days.
He is survived by his children: Shelia McCoy of Waverly, TN, Marylin Smith and husband Kenneth of Bethel Springs, TN, Carolyn Lewis of Selmer, TN, Cathy W. Griffin and husband Larry of Adamsville, TN, Ronnie Bizzell and wife Sandra of Fultondale, AL, Gary Bizzell Sr. of Bethel Springs, TN, Yvonne Hart and husband Randy of Jackson, TN, Sherri Payne and husband Johnny of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Dorothy Sheline of Gary, IN; a brother, Grady Willcutt and wife Martha Lou of Indianola, MS; 21 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 15 Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Willcutt was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Willcutt; a son, Bobby Ray Willcutt; his siblings: James B. Willcutt, Myrtle Sowell, Lois Wright, Glen Everett Willcutt and Ray Willcutt; and a grandchild.
