Funeral service for Mr. L. Q. Harrison age 88 of Hartselle will be Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Culbreath officiating with burial in the Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Harrison, who died on Friday, December 12, 2014 at his home, was born on February 25, 1926 in Danville, Alabama to Young and Artie Rollin Harrison. He was retired from Monsanto and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife; Nell Harrison and by two sisters; Lois Harrison and Ruthie Harrison.
He is survived by a son: Mark Harrison (Sherry), a granddaughter; Kassie Harrison Long (Caleb) and a sister; Marie Williams all of Hartselle.
Danny Andrews, Randy Dean, Shirley Orr, Ricky Weaver, Jimmy Walker, Michael Long and Johnny Vansant will serve as pallbearers.
