L.H. Owens passed from this life on February 18, 2013 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of 39 years of marriage. Other survivors include 3 sons, Jimmy Owens, Steve Owens, and Scott Whitman (Julie); 7 daughters, Cynthia Spitler (Dick), Susan Gabrion (Randy), Anita Allen (Oittis), Tracy Sirratt (Dale), Nancy Owens, Denise Smith (Eddie), and Christina Marks (Chuck); 33 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Tracy Wix. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by 2 sons, Phillip and Jeffery Owens; and 4 grandchildren. The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home of Cherokee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday at Antioch Cemetery in Beebe, AR. Bro Gary Puckett will officiate. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gabrion, Mike Bush, Tim Owens, Dale Sirratt, Oittis Allen, and David Owens
