Funeral Services for Kyren Grey Andrews, age 3 of Goodwater, will be Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jimmy Brand officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family requests everyone attending the services to wear bright and colorful clothes.

Kyren was born at Coosa Valley Medical Center and attended Bright Beginnings Day Care. He enjoyed playing tag and chasing his dad and little brother, drawing on himself so he could have tattoos like his mom, and cuddling with his grandparents. He loved playing with his uncles Connor and Gabe, and squealed in delight when they chases him and his brother, and get to play Uncle Connors Electric Keyboard. He would crawl into his Pop Pop’s recliner and watching YouTube videos on building log cabins, and taking his Gigi’s hand and would lead her to the kitchen where the snacks were kept knowing she would usually give in and let him have whatever. Kyren was loved by everyone, especially his Grandmother, Becky Teems. When he was over at the house, he would run across the living room to hug her over and over again. He also loved his “Ro Ro”, or Rayne, and would lay with her in her room, watching videos on her phone and taking pictures with her. He also enjoyed taking his cousin Brayden’s Pokémon cards, wanting to with him then run away with them. Kyren enjoyed playing on water inflatables and being in the bath with his little brother, playing with any animals he could get his hands on, and jumping on the bed. He could find any treats that you hid from him, and love to dance and reenact scenes from his favorite movies, Shrek and Puss in Boots. Kyren loved playing outside, jumping in rain puddles and playing with any kind of ball. His favorite food was any kind of fruit, especially mandarin oranges, apples and raspberries, as well as spaghetti and any kind of pasta. Kyren loved his little brother most of all, even though they were jealous of each other getting attention from family members, they were best friends. If Kayden saw or heard Kyren screaming or crying, he would fight to try and get to his brother. Kyren was the most loving and caring little boy, always giving the best hugs to his friends and family, always happy and playful, and was quick to comfort you if you were sad.
