Kyle Vaughn Jeffreys, age 80 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Jeffreys was born May 18, 1939 in Lawrence County to Elbert Jeffreys and Mary Jane Vick Jeffreys.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jeffreys will be held Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Joel Carwile and Bro. Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Jeffreys; daughters, Vickie Wallace (Bubba), Jeal Hill (Marcus) and Melissa Marbut (David); sister, Annie Hicks (Donald); grandchildren, Neal Abernathy, Becky Abernathy, Teshay Rieger, Rick Bullington, Kristin Gould and Joel Marbut; 15 Great grandchildren.
He was a member of Truth Baptist Church and the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team.
Pallbearers will be Neal Abernathy, Izaiah Barajas, Rick Bullington, Logan Bullington, Marcus Rieger and J.J. Houtman. Honorary Pallbearers are Joel Marbut, McCoy Marbut, Mason Abernathy, Blake Gould, Preston Estes and Hayden Bullington.
