KTSB is hard at it again – Keeping The Shoals Beautiful

TUSCUMBIA – “I am so proud of our Street Department! They do such good work, that there’s relatively little for me to put in my bag,” said Pat Shoemaker, as she was policing the area in front of Tuscumbia Utilities. But Pat stayed with it for another couple of hours, as her cleanup colleagues from Keep The Shoals Beautiful fanned out to different parts of the city.

With those classic nail-bearing sticks supplanted by modern high-tech trash pickup apparatus, they were there. From Downtown to the railroad tracks they fanned out, picking up rubbish along the roadways in preparation for this weekend’s Helen Keller Festival.

The Quad-Cities Daily stopped by and took a few photos of the cleanup crew and we present them here. Good work KTSB!
