Krystle Diane Farris, 30, Muscle Shoals, Alabama joined the heavenly choir, May 30, 2018, surrounded at home by her supportive family. Born September 29, 1987 at Helen Keller Hospital, this determined fighter was the daughter of Jerry and Vickie Farris. Growing up in a large, loving family, she was the youngest of 5 children. She graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration. Driven by her love for Jesus and for people, her warm smile and thoughtfulness was enjoyed by strangers, family, friends, and co-workers at Helen Keller Hospital where she worked in human resources until the last six months. With a heart for music and a deep desire to glorify Jesus, she was active in the praise and worship band at Cliff Haven Church of God and she continued praising her Savior until her last breath. Always thinking of others, Krystle excitedly volunteered for the Junior League’s Apple Annie Day and was a past-member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
This selfless and inspiring warrior of God is survived by her parents, grandparents, Bradford and Louise Farris (Muscle Shoals) and Anita Pounders (Muscle Shoals); brother Chad Farris (Lori); sister Heather King (Jonathan); brother Craig Farris (Casey); and brother Tommy Britton; her world-changers: Kaylie Beth and Brayden Farris; Will, Cole, and Anna Claire King; Faith Farris; and, MacKenzie and Natalee Britton. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Burl Pounders.
The family wants to especially thank friends, best-friend Dr. Kayla Isbell, Helen Keller Hospital, and the Cancer Center for the wonderful outpouring of support shown to Krystle as she walked this journey.
The body will lie in state at Hope Church in Muscle Shoals, Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Krystle Farris Scholarship Fund at Helen Keller Hospital via the Helen Keller Foundation (Helen Keller Foundation, P.O.
