Funeral services for Kristoffer Cody Hill, age 38 of Decatur, will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Decatur City Cemetery. Reverends Steve Bateman and Jess Montegudo will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
Cody was born in Decatur, Alabama on January 27, 1986, to Charles Gregory Spence and Wilma Darlene Hill Spence. He attended the First Bible Church in Decatur with his grandparents and family starting at a very young age and continued throughout his life. Cody enjoyed watching all different kinds of movies, doing cross stitch, reading, doing photo albums, researching his genealogy and photography work.
Cody is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilma Spence, grandparents, Robert Allen Hill and Glenda Joyce Hill. He is survived by his brother, Nick (Nikki) Spence; nephew, Silas Spence; grandparents, George (Dot) Stovall along with many other loving family members and friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Cody.
