Kristin Nicole Holden, age 32, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was employed at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home as a dietary aide in food service. Kristin was a member of Center Star Baptist Church where she spent her younger years with the youth group there and helping her Nanny teach bible class and VBS.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Brother Ronnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Loyd “Bill” Hughes and Lelon Holden;
She is survived by her mother, Rhonda Holden; two sisters, Dana Johnson (Johnathan) and Jamie Vanlandingham (Christopher); Grandmothers, MaeJean Hughes and Joyce Holden; Aunt, Ronette Williams (Mike); niece, Sara Johnson; nephews, Logan Johnson and Connor Vanlandingham; as well as several cousins.
Kristin was a devoted daughter and sister and loved her nieces and nephews. She was a true Mama’s girl and enjoyed spending quality time with family. She was Connor’s “KK” and they spent lots of time together going to the library, playing games, and singing their favorite songs. Kristin was a compassionate soul and always helping others, most recently by becoming an organ donor. She will be missed by all of those who loved her.
