Krista Lynn McCarty, 28, of Madison passed away February 25, 2015 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She is survived by her parents, John and Rhonda McCarty, brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Rachael McCarty, nieces, Norah and Robin McCarty, grandparents, Sam and Jane Ledbetter and Alan and Barbara McCarty; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00pm at Pineview Baptist Church with Reverend Joey Savell officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Krista McCarty@cff.org. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
