Mrs. Kitty Sue Clanton Stamper, 59, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at Starkville Manor following an extended illness. She was born December 27, 1956 in Truman, Alabama, to Carl Clanton and Virginia Chaney Clanton. She was married to Charles Stamper and worked as a waitress before becoming disabled. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and devoted wife. She will be sorely missed by her family. She was a member of South Jackson Church of Christ, Houston, MS.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Stamper of Houston; children, Jeffrey Paul Stamper and Leslie Guthrie (Terry), all of Houston; brother, Steve Clanton (Deanna) of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Mary Springer and Carla Smith (Larry), all of Houston; two grandchildren, Katlyan Brassfield and Skyler Guthrie. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and a sister.
Services will be private to the family. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
