Kimberly D. Groom, of Madison, AL, passed away Tuesday at the age of 50. She was a native of Leesburg, VA, but lived and raised a family for 27 years in Madison. Kimberly was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard, 161st Medical Battalion. Mrs. Groom is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kevin Groom, their three children: Joseph Groom, Julianne Groom, and Christopher Groom; and her father Russell Spiess. A memorial service will be conducted at Asbury United Methodist Church on Hughes Road in Madison, AL on Monday, June 9th at 6:00 pm.
