The following obituary has been written by Kimberly’s family:
In Loving Memory of Kimberly Ann Brannon Tobiason. Kimberly Ann Brannon Tobiason passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, laughter, and countless lives she touched along the way. Kimberly was a kind-hearted and deeply loving woman whose door was always open to anyone who needed a place to go, a listening ear, a helping hand, or simply someone who cared. She had a way of making people feel welcome and accepted. You could tell Kimberly anything, and she would listen without judgment. She had a gift for making people feel safe enough to be themselves. Her family meant everything to her. She loved her children, grandchildren, and the people she called family with all her heart. She especially loved making Christmas gifts for her grandchildren. She put time, creativity, and love into the things she made because, for Kimberly, giving was never just about the gift—it was about letting someone know they were loved. Kimberly had a huge heart and would give her last bite of food or her last dollar just to know that someone else was taken care of. She was the kind of person who would lift you up when you were down, pray with you when you needed strength, and show up when you needed a hand. She was a wonderful listener, a loyal friend, and someone who could be trusted with the things that mattered most. She didn’t judge people by their mistakes or circumstances. She simply loved them. Kimberly also had a playful and silly side that brought laughter and joy to those around her. She loved her music and had a personality that could light up a room. Her beautiful smile was one of the many things people will remember about her. She loved her animals deeply and found great joy in caring for them. She loved art and crafts and especially enjoyed creating things with her own hands. Many of the things she made became gifts for the people she loved, leaving behind not only something beautiful, but a tangible reminder of her love. Kimberly was also a hard worker. She loved being outdoors and working in nature. There was something special about being outside, working with her hands, and enjoying the beauty around her. But perhaps the greatest thing about Kimberly was simply her heart. She gave. She listened. She encouraged. She prayed. She welcomed. She loved. And she did these things without asking for anything in return. Those who knew Kimberly will carry pieces of her with them- the sound of her laughter, her beautiful smile, her silly moments, the things she created, the music she loved, the kindness she showed, and the countless ways she made people feel cared for. Her physical presence may no longer be with us, but the love she planted in the hearts of others will continue to live. As we mourn Kimberly’s passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind memories that cannot be taken away and a legacy measured not by possessions, but by the people she loved and the lives she touched. Kimberly Ann Brannon Tobiason will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Until we meet again, Mom. Your love will continue to live through us. Visitation will be Saturday September 12, 2026 from 11 am until 1pm at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home where a service will follow at 1pm.
