Mrs. Kim Whited Krome-Sieja, aged 56, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on February 2, 2025. Kim was a cherished mother, wife, and grandmother. She had a passion for the Auburn Tigers, a love for acquiring new knowledge, and enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly at the lake with her family. Her dedication to education allowed her to make a significant impact throughout her career at Marshall Space Flight Center and Madison City Schools.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Sieja; her parents, Carol and James “Glenn” Whited; her children, Sophia and Federico Garcia, Celia Krome, and Everett Krome; her stepdaughters, Ashley, Courtney and Andie Sieja; her grandchildren, Celia James Garcia-Krome and Ben Sieja; her sister and brother-in-law, Jenn and Denis Kler; her nephew, Keegan Kler, and her niece, Kinsley Kler; as well as her mother-in-law, Lynn R. Krome. Kim was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark E. Krome.

A Celebration of Kim’s Life is scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2025, at 3 pm, Crosspointe Church in Madison, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Downtown Rescue Mission, located at 1400 Evangel Drive, Huntsville, AL 35816, or to the Crosspointe Church Missions Fund at 78 Hughes Rd., Madison, AL 35758.
