Kim Wharton, age 75, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Millport, AL. Bro. Douglas Wharton and Bro. Gene Dawkins to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Kim was born on November 8, 1946 in Seoul, Korea to the late Juwan Kim and Ookie Kim. She previously worked at Seminole Manufacturing and Glenn Enterprises. Kim was the owner/operator of S’Lady’s in Aliceville, AL. She was a U.S. citizen for 38 years and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Hightogy, AL.
