Kim Eugene Helmick, age 60, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015.
Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 22, 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be today, 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Richardson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Clark, Alen Parker, Justin Gibson, Dakota Clark, W.A. Richardson and Glenn Helmick.
Mr. Helmick was an avid outdoorsman and worked as a boilermaker for 32 years. As a drummer, he played with numerous bands in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Helmick, and brother, David Helmick.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Gail Helmick; mother, Patricia Boling; son, Adam Alexander Helmick; brothers, Gary Helmick (Bobbie) and Glenn Helmick (Delinda); and granddaughter, Emma Helmick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
