Kevin Martin, age 58, husband of Teresa Martin and resident of Culleoka, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his residence.
A private graveside service will be held at Friendship Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kevin was born in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of the late Jessie Herbert Martin and the late Thelma Helton Martin. He graduated from Belleville High School in Michigan and was of the Nazarene faith. He was employed with General Motors as a fork lift operator.
Along with his wife, Teresa Little Martin, he is survived by his sons: Kevin (Courtney) Martin II of MI and Kenneth Martin of Culleoka; daughter: Lisa Martin of Columbia; brothers: Norman Messer, L.D. Messer, Ray Messer, Bobby Martin, and Duane Martin; grandchildren: Brooke Martin, Cailey Martin, Bryson Martin, Shelby Martin, Addie Bee Martin, and one granddaughter on the way.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Linda Durham.
