Kevin Dewayne Stevenson, 58, of Athens, Alabama passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at his home.
He was born on August 11, 1967, to the late Mr. Jerry Stevenson and Mrs. Marie Tanner Stevenson.
Kevin was a lifelong resident of Athens, Alabama and was a member at Wooley Springs Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed taking care of his farm and all his animals. He also loved buying, selling, and trading as well as showing halter horses.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Stevenson.
He is survived by his mother, Marie Tanner Stevenson, one son, Tanner Stevenson, one daughter, Paige (Robbie) Ingram, one brother, Jody (Michelle) Stevenson, as well as one granddaughter, Braylee Posey.
The family has made plans to have a visitation as well as a Celebration of Life service for Mr. Stevenson on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Wooley Springs Baptist Church in Toney, Alabama, with visitation from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and the Celebration of Life service to begin after visitation.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
