Mr. Carroll is a veteran of the US Army, where he served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a retired police officer with the Auburn University Campus Police.
He is survived by his children. Kerry M. Carroll Jr. (Judy), Stephanie R. Martin (Doyle), Tina L. Carroll, Jeffrey A. Carroll (Paige), Mark S. Carroll (Sheree); grand children, Gregory Carroll, Erin Wilson, Meredith Cummings, Shane Carroll, Miranda Martin, Jaryn Wester, Alan Carroll, Mallory Carroll Brown, Brantley Hawk, Katie Hawk; great grandchildren, Luke, Connor Jones, Cohen Wilson, Lincoln, Brady and Colton; brother, Wayne Carroll (Ginger).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Gladys Carroll;
wife, Barbara Jean Carroll.
Mr. Carroll will be buried with full military honors at Fort Mitchell on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am CST.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville, Alabama assisted the family.
