Kerry Byron Jones, age 69, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Visitation will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tommy Crowden officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Eckard Walker, Jackie Pounders, Don Burleson, Ronnie Hannah, Chris Ballard, and Steve Stutts.
Byron was a graduate of Auburn University and worked in Florence for the past 42 years as a pharmacist before retiring in 2013. He attended Central Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren on his farm.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Marvin and Theda Jones, and brother, Monte Jones.
Survivors are his wife, Wanda Faye Jones; daughters, Jennifer Spurgeon (George) and Kerri Oliver (Travis); and grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Lake, Justin, Katie Brooke, and Addison.
