Kermit Scogin, age 77 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at his residence.
Kermit was born on May 14, 1945 in Winston County, Alabama.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Old Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will follow.
Kermit is survived by his wife, Robbie Scogin; son, Bryan Scogin; daughter, Gina (Scogin) Lovejoy; daughter-in-law, Sherry Scogin; son-in-law, Mark Lovejoy; sisters, Laura Ann Bishop and Brenda Hess; granddaughters Aleshia Scogin, Victoria Scogin, Emily Lovejoy, and Katie Lovejoy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Scogin; mother, Mamie Scogin; and brother, Travis Scogin.
