Funeral service for Kermit Morris, 78, will be Friday, February 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Kinney and Bro. Jerry Lawson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Morris died on Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1945, in Cullman County, to Kermit Paschal Morris, Sr. and Jewell Vann Morris.
He was employed as a Horticulturist for Eva Nursery, which was his passion and also worked for Rooms To Go in sales. He loved his church and was very involved, serving as a Deacon, helping with the Youth Ministries and was a member of the Ironmen group. He loved sports and coaching children and going to their ballgames. He was a very generous person always helping others. He enjoyed playing pool.
