Keri Leigh Hester, 35, of Rome, Georgia, passed away Dec. 17, 2016, at a local hospital. Keri was born on Nov. 15, 1981, in Decatur. She was the daughter of Darren and Sami Watts.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Hester; her children, Olivia and Riley Hester; her stepchildren, Ethan and Sydney Hester; her parents, Darren Watts and Sami Watts; her sister, Quinci Evans; her grandparents, Roy and Carroll Tapscott and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Oaknoll Chapel with the Reverend Skip Meyers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Garden Lakes Elementary School in Keri’s memory.
