Kent S. Sellers, age 74, of Hayden, passed away September 17, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton “Doc” and Ruth Sellers; wife Paulette Sellers; father-in-law, Wilburn Marbutt; mother-in-law, Pauline Marbutt; brother-in-law, Joe Hatley and sister-in-law Brenda Marbutt. He is survived by his children Aaron Sellers(Gwen), Karen Taylor(Jim); grandchildren Brooke Hawkins(Jack), Hope Sellers, Dylan Sellers and Kara Sellers and sister Donna Hatley and brothers-in-law, Danny Marbutt, Roger Marbutt(Sandra) and Gary Marbutt(Lisa) as well as many nieces and nephews. Kent graduated from Corner High School then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at the University of Alabama. He retired from ELPASO where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer. Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 2pm with burial following in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
